My dad the hero, were coming up to the time of year when your health started to go downhill it was a hard time for us all to see you suffer but you never complained as usual hope your with your family out of pain, hope you can give us some signal tonight that your doing ok when we go to see Sally Morgan at the white rock tonight...allways in my thoughts Tracy

One of my fondest memories of dad is standing on the doortep with him at De Cham Road one summers evening and dad saying this is the best time of the day, we would have a little chat then it would be time to go in because dad had something he had to get on with!
